I noticed that spray logos look so messed up in the server too. It's probably because of the dust tiles.
I don't remember how, but I have fixed mine so that it looks normal. I remember doing some random stuff on PS on it.

Check inactive moderators and kick them from that place
Don't worry, we have an activity script that automatically demotes moderators if they stay inactive for a certain period of time. e.g: a Smod has to play 6 hours a month (or a week can't remember). So if you do get accepted, check your activity in F2 > Activity. Good luck!

No, DoS attacks are simply overloading the server with a request so many times that it can't handle the load, which results in the server to temporarily shut down. In proper English: saturating the target machine with external communications requests, so much so that it cannot respond to legitimate traffic, or responds so slowly as to be rendered essentially unavailable. Such attacks usually lead to a server overload.
