Hellos everyone. Summer's here and I've found myself playing on HC // Fun again.

I was quite inactive last year so I requested demotion. I'm back for the summer so I'd like to help out in moderating the server.

I'm seeing new faces here so I'll introduce myself. I joined cs2d about 3 years ago. I'm a 17 year old guy from Pakistan. I'm learning web development & design. I joined HC//Fun as a Jmod somewhere around 2013. Right now I'm the Co-leader of -[IFwsI]-. I have Moderation & Administration experience. And I'm looking forward to spending time with you guys.

Ai guys, Just finished exams and I've got a month of winter holidays. Would like to catch up with my required activity within those days as I'll pretty much be procrastinating for the most of ~4-5 hours on cs2d (don't ask). And so,

Server / Two Suggestions!

1-
Events! There should be events on the server! It's kinda dull now with just the rounds shufflin and looping and traffic has gone down. >.> Events could be of any kind, such as every(somwhat) mod/admin joining the server (Although I know no one has much time but..) and playing against each other or another type of event(recommendations would be helpful), or Double XP weekend(I know its retarded, just an example tho)

Seasonal Maps!
Remember HC had one for Winter? It would be awesome if we can get a hold a mapper(or if any one of you would be willing to) and just change the overlay of dm_dust for that particular season, e.g in fall the color complexion would be warm with leaves fallen around etc.

This can boost the traffic and lure in more players.

Server / Lag issue

Ever since the IP of HC changed the last time I've been getting lags, on other servers I can go well at ~180, but in HC my ping tops ~260 in normal play and in those barracade + machete/chainsaw events/rounds I totally lag out. This never happened before and it's weird since my internet also got a boost to 2Mbps(0.2MBps/200KBps), and believe it or not, but it was 0.5MBps(50KBps) before and I played without any lag, my ping was around ~140. Did the server move or something, am I using the wrong ports(32, 16, 36963) or what? :C

CS2D got an update and as goes for the servers. Just a reminder here for a server update because I can't play! xP

As for the other users, if you went through the update you will not be able to play on the server or see the server on your server list (probably because of your option settings).

He usually comes with that name. I saw him for the fourth time on the server, including today. He uses both aimbot and speed hack. Someone banhammer this guy.

Hi everyone, well it has been a while since I played but here is what's up. Before I tell you that I was thinking of posting this earlier, but I was really crushed by my school work and exams, but now that I've seen some other players and Bonzo leave, I think this might be a good time to say this.

I have been playing this game for quite some time and I've made many friends, thanks to them I had great time on hotchills servers and forums, but you know, that time always comes when you have to leave. Right now, I'm kind of crushed under my school exams and work, I've got Cambridge Final Exam at the end of the second semester, and Mock Exams coming up this November or December. The education system here is really crapped, and because of that the other systems crash as well. And the way of giving exams here is kind of senseless. But yeah, you've got to do it. So now I only have weekends available to me in which I'm planning to save them for learning game programming and development. So now I haven't got much time at all. Other than that, as Bonzo stated that somewhere in your life, someplace you have to move on. It had been awesome for being a moderator on this server and kicking hackers @5535, I'd have to say, I had an awesome time with you guys.

I'd like to thank all the friends I made here, Bonzo, Turkey and Happy C@mper for being awesome people and friends and CS2d for bringing light to my boredom.

Server / Dynamic Server IP Address?

Hi,
I think this might pull down the % of ddos attacks on the server. And that the dynamic IP would change every 2-5 hours, or if the ddos attack is frequent, then every hour. This might be a problem for the players, but who cares? I still love this server, and it will/might protect it, because ddos needs time to send enough packets to crash a computer, not 1 hour, it might take days.

And the best way for me to make a dynamic IP address is:
ipconfig /flush
ipconfig /renew

Takes a few seconds, then you're good to go. It would be easy if you could make a batch file like this, then download a "cron jobs" type software to make it run, or I think there is already a system like that on windows. (I saw it once on XP, cant be sure it will be on higher versions).

Server / Hacker + JMod Report

Well, yeah, I'm a Jmod, so I dont get much chances of banning anyone. But there was this player from Russian federation. You can check his logs to see what he did.
Events happened on Aug 22 2013, Thursday, 12:00 - 1:00 AM. Pakistan Time. (I forgot the gmt, i think its +4) Anyways, it the time that this was posted.
So he first started racial comments and i muted him. So he came back with different names and started speedhacking. And kept saying "you will pay". The funny.

I managed to get his Ip.
It's 94.75.161.200
He kept coming in and speedhacking, then leaving withing a few seconds, making it difficult to retrieve his other info. So, I don't have much power, so I guess it would be appropriate to report it here for mods?

Oh and another story, one of your jmods seem to be pretty racial too.

Hello everyone! I just came by to say that I was leaving due to some problems. Thank you very much for accepting my JMOD app. But since I ran into some minor KILLER problems, I can't play cs2d anymore. I've also PM'd info on why I can't play here anymore. This server was epic, any I learned quite alot of tactics from some professionals here. Great server & Goodbye everyone. Might come back...

I read about the ddos attacks that is crashing the website. Well I recommend you use cloudflare. There is a free version of it and it will stop the ddos. :L Thought I might help a bit.
