This is just a self-experiment thing. I always run it in fullscreen.

Stopped using windowed mode once I got annoyed by constantly mis-placing my mouse cursor off the screen of the game.

This is what about i wanted to write but net connection didnt let me :) If you are good, you cannot use windowed mood cause your cursore is moving out of window disturbing in aiming/shooting

One my old friend long time ago wrote program for cs2d which does not allow cursor exceeded the limits of window  :P

Fullscreen:
Aim: degradation
Range: Maximum

Windowed:
Aim: Best (somewhat, depends how lazy you are in moving your mouse)
Range: Minimum
